Last Friday, we had a joyful morning celebrating El Salvador’s Independence!
Our K5 students proudly joined the Independence Parade in traditional Salvadoran outfits. They also performed “Adentro Cojutepeque” during the Civic Ceremony.
They enjoyed delicious pupusas, created the Maquilishuat tree and Flor de Izote in pairs, and finished the celebration with cupcakes!
It was a wonderful morning of culture, tradition, creativity, and happy memories.
